ARTICLE'S CHARACTERISTIC

Single-splint binding device for lower limb with shoe, with adjustable angle of flexion and extension by 20 deg and regulation of the height of the shoe. The open type of the product is equipped with 4 independent belts made of Velcro tapes and elastic side reinforcement which protects the joint from distortion.

The product is equipped with double axis side splint with gear rack made of high quality aluminium, finished with sanded coating. The splint fits the anatomical shape of the lower limb which allows for better adjustment of the device.
Usage of elastic, anatomical cup for the joint of the splint additionally stabilizes the knee joint.
Double-axis action of the joint is copying the anatomical movement of the joint.

There is an adjustable foot-drop device assembled at the bottom part of the splint, made of carbon fibre, which together with the splint stabilizes the whole lower limb.

ATTRIBUTES
  1. EASINESS OF USAGE- the device stabilizes the lower limb, allowing for free breathing of the skin and change of the dressing without taking off.
  2. COMFORT OF USAGE- it is made of skin-friendly fabrics, does not cause abrasion and absorbs sweat well.
  3. PERFECT STABILIZATION- additional stabilization protects from foot-drop and distorted knee joint
  4. EFFECTIVENESS OF STABILIZATION- the double axis stabilizes the lower limb and copies the flexion and extension movement of the knee joint.
  5. ADDITIONAL STABILIZATION- light, carbon fibre device stabilizes the ankle very well.
  6. HYGIENE- the product can be easily disassembled therefore there is no problem with washing and maintenance.

PURPOSE:
The device should be used in following cases:
  • paresis of lower limbs
  • after orthopedic treatment during convalescence
  • after arthroscopy
  • in early rehabilitation
  • after injuries of lower limbs and during rehabilitation

CONTRAINDICATION:
Should not be applied in cases of:
  • fresh wounds
  • attritions of skin
  • skin eczemas
  • skin allergies
  • varicosity
  • ulceration of shin

USAGE:
Rehabilitation, orthopaedics, neurology, neurosurgery, rheumatology

INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS:
  1. Use strictly under the doctor's supervision
  2. The product should be adjusted on the patient for the first time by a doctor or qualified medical staff (after fitting pelottes to the lower limb)
  3. Incorrect usage of the product of selection of wrong size may cause problems with blood circulation, stress to the protected joint, skin injuries.
  4. Luck of everyday personal hygiene or wrong maintenance and washing of the product may cause excoriations or allergic reaction connected with increased sweating and bacterial flora.
HOW TO PUT IT ON:

MAINTENANCE:
  1. Hand-wash in warm water and soap in 30 deg. temperature
  2. Do not iron
  3. Do not use chlorine
  4. Dry far from the sources of heat
