ARTICLE'S CHARACTERISTIC
Module apparatus is made of:
- Two open sleeves – tight and shin – which can be easily put on and precisely fitted to the size of the lower limb.
- Orthopaedic splints with system of fastening.
- Set of Velcro tapes.
- Front knee cup
The product is equipped with 2 double-axis side splints with gear rack and adjustment of flexion and extention, made of high quality aluminium with sanded finishing. The splints are placed in form of X, which makes the product fit perfectly the protected limb and provide very good stabilization of the joint. The way the splint joint is working copies the anatomical movement of the knee, the flexion and extention of the joint can be regulated by 20. This adjustment is done very easily without any tools. The splints provide side stabilization of the limb, they have a system of independent attachment to the sleeves of tight and shin, which enables individual, easy and precise allocation of the place of attachment to the soft part of the apparatus.
The Velcro tapes assure better fitting of the apparatus to the limb and effective stabilization of the protected joint. Apparatus is equipped with a knee cup which stabilizes front of the knee joint, so the apparatus can be used for patients with paresis of lower limbs when learning to stand up.
Inside the joints there are additionally soft pillows which protect the knee from side injury.

PURPOSE:
Should be applied in cases of:
- dislocation of the knee joint
- detorsion of the knee joint
- luck of side and front-medial stability of the knee
- damage to the knee ligaments LCL, MCL and ACL
- after reconstruction of the knee joint
- after orthopaedic surgery
- in early up-right standing
- during learning to walk
CONTRAINDICATION:
The device shouldn’t be used in following cases:
- fresh wounds
- excoriations
- skin eczema
- skin allergy
- varicosity
- ulceration of shin

INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS:
- Use strictly under the doctor's supervision
- The product should be adjusted on the patient for the first time by a doctor or qualified medical staff.
- Incorrect usage of the product or selection of wrong size may cause damage to blood circulation, stress to the protected joint, skin injuries.
- Luck of everyday personal hygiene or wrong maintenance and washing of the product may cause excoriations or allergic reaction connected with increased sweating and bacterial flora.
HOW TO PUT IT ON - SCHEMATIC DIAGRAM
MAINTENANCE:
- Hand-wash in warm water and soap in 30 deg temperature
- Do not iron
- Do not use chlorine
- Dry far from the sources of heat
Attention: before washing remove the splints together with the system of their assembly.
