ARTICLE'S CHARACTERISTIC

Module apparatus for upper limb is made of polyurethane foam, which is two-sidedly coated with self-adhesive lining fabric.
The device consists of:
- anatomically profiled aluminum skeleton equipped with hand spoon and stabilizer with VELCRO stickers,
- orthopeadic splint made of carbon fibre with regulation of bend and unbend angle by every 15 deg. and stabilizer with VELCRO stickers,
- arm sleeve.
Skeleton has been protected with powdery varnish with raised stamina.
Additionally we have installed a girdle which stabilizes a wrist and types which stabilize fingers without thumb. The apparatus protects the whole upper limb and joints between fingers, metacarpus, carpal joint and cubital joint.
A perfect skin respiration was obtained thanks to application of special perforated internal knit fabric as well as thanks to open construction of the apparatus.

  2. Komfort użytkowania - dzięki zastosowaniu dzianiny i ażurowych pasów i pelot, skóra kończyny górnej prawidłowo oddycha i doskonale jest odprowadzany pot z ciała.
  3. Łatwość użytkowania - w miarę prosty sposób zakładania i zdejmowania przez pacjenta.
  4. Utrzymanie właściwej higieny - ze względu na łatwość zakładania i zdejmowania aparatu modułowego, pacjent ma możliwość łatwego wyprania elementów ortezy, jak również utrzymania właściwej higieny kończyny górnej.



PURPOSE:
Should be applied in cases of:
  • fractures of cubital joint - after taking off the plaster dressing,
  • posttraumatic injury of both carpal and cubital joints,
  • severe inflammatory states of both carpal and cubital joints,
  • multisectional fracture of upper limb in cycle of convalescence after taking off the plaster dressing,
  • inflammatory states of upper limb that require immobilization - in severe cycle,
  • during a process of rehabilitation and convalescence,
  • in neurological illnesses of central and peripheral origin,
  • after other operations (surgery, orthopaedy)

CONTRAINDICATION:
Should not be applied in cases of:
  • fresh wounds
  • attritions of skin
  • skin eczemas
  • skin allergies
  • varicosity
  • ulceration of shin

HOW TO PUT IT ON:

INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS:
  1. It should be applied in compliance with indications and under doctor's supervision.
  2. For the first time should be established by doctor or by trained medical staff.
  3. Orthosis should not be used if any ointment or warming up gel had been applied earlier.
  4. It is recommended to use the article together with stocking or antivaricose knee-length socks of minimum compression.
  5. Inappropriate use of article or choosing wrong size can bring about a defect of venous and arterial circulation, trauma of protected joint, skin illnesses etc.
  6. Lack of everyday personal hygiene or inappropriate preservation and washing the article can cause skin attritions or can bring about allergic reactions connected with intensive perspiration and development of bacterial flora.
HOW TO PUT IT ON - SCHEMATIC DIAGRAM:

MAINTENANCE:
  1. Wash by hands in warm water with soap in temperature of 30 deg.
  2. Do not mould.
  3. Do not chlorinate.
  4. Dry away from sources of warmth.
CAUTION! Before washing front and back stiffers!
