ARTICLE'S CHARACTERISTIC

High semi-rigid lumber support with arm-pit support and additional reinforcement, made of made of light, cotton orthopaedic rubber allowing for comfortable breathing of the skin, and polyurethane foam covered on both sides with fabric.
In the loin-back section located are anatomically shaped nibs with sanded cover. This cover protects the nibs from bending, corrosion, salt form patient' sweat and from staining patient's clothes.
The set of double tightening tapes enables precise fitting of the lumber support as well increase pressure and stabilization of the orthopaedic nibs in the loin-back area. The additional shoulder tightening straps stabilize patient's shoulders and protect the device from uncontrolled opening.
ATTRIBUTES
  1. PATIENT-FRIENDLY PRODUCT- The lumber support is made of cotton orthopaedic rubber containing mainly cotton which is neutral to the skin.
  2. HIGH EFFECTIVENSS OF STABILIZATION- thanks to the anatomically shaped nibs it was possible to achieve very effective stabilization of the chest and also loin-back area.
  3. SAFETY- the front securing tapes increase the safety of usage of the product and eliminate the possibility of the uncontrolled opening of the device.
  4. COMFORT OF USAGE- the product is skin-color therefore comfortable to use and hardly noticeable on patient's body. The stabilization of both: chest and loin-back area eliminates the necessity of usage of other less comfortable ortthopaedic devices.
PURPOSE:
The limber support should be used in following cases:
  • strong pain in the chest and loin-back area
  • discopathy
  • osteoporosis
  • luck of spine stabilization
  • spondylolistesis of the loin area
  • compression spine fracture resulting from osteoporosis (after consulting with the doctor)
  • sciatic neuritis
  • degeneration of the spine in the chest and loin-back area
  • after surgery of the loin-back area (orthopedics, neurosurgery)
  • after removal of the plaster dressing, as stabilization
  • some pasture problems

Attention: Do not use the stabilization in case of injuries which require better stabilization eg. plaster dressing of surgery.

CONTRAINDICATION:
The device shouldn't be used in following cases:
  • fresh wounds
  • excoriations
  • skin eczema
  • skin allergy
  • arterial hypertension 3rd degree

USAGE:
Rehabilitation, orthopaedics, neurology, neurosurgery, rheumatology.

HOW TO PUT IT ON:

INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS:
  1. Use only according to doctor's advice and under doctor's supervision
  2. The product should be adjusted on the patient for the first time by a doctor or qualified medical staff.
  3. If possible wear cotton t-shirt under the device
  4. Use strictly under the doctor's supervision
  5. After final fitting cut off the needless Velcro tape
  6. Do not use the device directly after usage of cream or worm-up gel
  7. Usage of wrong size of the product (too small) or excessive tightening of the belts, may cause temporary problems with intestines activity and other internal organs or problems with breathing and blood circulation.
  8. Luck of everyday personal hygiene or wrong maintenance and washing of the product may cause excoriations or allergic reaction connected with increased sweating and bacterial flora.
HOW TO PUT IT ON - SCHEMATIC DIAGRAM:

MAINTENANCE:
  1. Hand-wash in warm water and soap in 30 deg. temperature
  2. Do not iron
  3. Do not use chlorine
  4. Dry far from the sources of heat
MATERIALS:
Polyurethane foam, velour fabric, Velcro tapes. orthopaedic rubber, orthopaedic clip, orthopaedic nibs.
