ARTICLE'S CHARACTERISTIC

High semi-rigid lumber support, made of made of light, cotton orthopaedic rubber allowing for comfortable breathing of the skin, and polyurethane foam covered on both sides with fabric. In the loin-back section located are anatomically shaped nibs with sanded cover. This cover protects the nibs from bending, corrosion, salt form patient' sweat and from staining patient's clothes. Usage of those nibs results in perfect reinforcement of the spine section. Two sets of elastic tightening tapes additionally stabilize the loin-back area. In the front part of the lumber support you can find Velcro tapes which secure the device from uncontrolled opening and therefore make the product safer to use.

ATTRIBUTES
  1. PATIENT-FRIENDLY PRODUCT- The lumber support is made of cotton orthopaedic rubber containing mainly cotton which is neutral to the skin.
  2. HIGH EFFECTIVENSS OF STABILIZATION- thanks to the anatomically shaped nibs and set of tightening tapes it was possible to achieve very effective stabilization.
  3. SAFETY- the front securing tapes increase the safety of usage of the product and eliminate the possibility of the uncontrolled opening of the device.
  4. COMFORT OF USAGE- the product is light and comfortable to use.
PURPOSE:
The limber support should be used in following cases:
  • strong pain in the loin-back area
  • degeneration of the spine in the loin-back area
  • discopathy in the loin area
  • after surgery of the loin-back area (orthopedics, neurosurgery)
  • after removal of the plaster dressing, as stabilization
  • deformation of the spine in the loin-back area
  • overstress of the loin-back area

CONTRAINDICATION:
The device shouldn't be used in following cases:
  • fresh wounds
  • excoriations
  • skin eczema
  • skin allergy
  • arterial hypertension 3rd degree.

Attention: Do not use the stabilization in case of injuries which require better stabilization eg. plaster dressing of surgery.

USAGE:
Rehabilitation, orthopaedics, neurology, neurosurgery, rheumatology.

HOW TO PUT IT ON:

INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS:
  1. If possible wear cotton t-shirt under the device
  2. Use strictly under the doctor's supervision
  3. The product should be adjusted on the patient for the first time by a doctor or qualified medical staff.
  4. Do not use the limber support directly after usage of cream or worm-up gel
  5. Incorrect size of the product (too small) may cause temporary problems of intestine activity and internal organs or problems with breathing and blood circulation.
  6. Luck of everyday personal hygiene or wrong maintenance and washing of the product may cause excoriations or allergic reaction connected with increased sweating and bacterial flora.
HOW TO PUT IT ON - SCHEMATIC DIAGRAM:

MAINTENANCE:
  1. Hand-wash in warm water and soap in 30 deg. temperature
  2. Do not iron
  3. Do not use chlorine
  4. Dry far from the sources of heat
Attention: Do not use the device in case of injuries requiring more stabilization e.g. plaster dressing.
