ARTICLE'S CHARACTERISTIC
Redressing apparatus for upper limb is made of:
- Two open sleeves - for the arm and forearm part - enabling their easy installation and exact adjustment to sizes of upper limb's measurements.
- Orthopedic splints with fixing system.
- VELCRO stickers.
The device is equipper with uniaxial side splints made of high quality plastic armed with carbon fibre. The system of splints in the apparatus and their specific flexibility result in proper adherence to the upper limb and also enable to stabilize the cubital joint excellently. Splints are provided with regulation range. The angle of bend and unbend can be adjusted every 15°. Such precise regulation of the device facilitates the process of rehabilitation of damaged cubital joint. Splint assure side stabilization of the limb. There is also installed a system of fixing to arm sleeve and forearm sleeve. It enables to attach the splints to the soft part of the apparatus in an individual, easy and precise way. VELCRO system positions the device and assures adherence of the apparatus to the limb and effective stabilization of the joint. Additionally, there are soft cushions installed inside the hocks to protect elbow from injuries.

PURPOSE:
Should be applied in cases of:
- contracture of bend and unbend of cubital pond,
- instability of elbow after injuries,
- in cycle of convalescence after fractures,
- after operations (orthopaedy).
CONTRAINDICATION:
Should not be applied in cases of:
- fresh wounds
- attritions of skin
- skin eczemas
- skin allergies
- varicosity
- ulceration of shin

Rehabilitation, orthopaedics, neurology, neurosurgery, rheumatology.
HOW TO PUT IT ON:
INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS:
- It should be applied in compliance with indications and under doctor's supervision.
- For the first time should be established by doctor or by trained medical staff.
- Orthosis should not be used if any ointment or warming up gel had been applied earlier.
- It is recommended to use the article together with stocking or antivaricose knee-length socks of minimum compression.
- Inappropriate use of article or choosing wrong size can bring about a defect of venous and arterial circulation, trauma of protected joint, skin illnesses etc.
- Lack of everyday personal hygiene or inappropriate preservation and washing the article can cause skin attritions or can bring about allergic reactions connected with intensive perspiration and development of bacterial flora.
HOW TO PUT IT ON - SCHEMATIC DIAGRAM:
MAINTENANCE:
- Hand-wash in warm water and soap in 30 deg. temperature
- Do not iron
- Do not use chlorine
- Dry far from the sources of heat
Attention: before washing remove the splints together with the system of their assembly.
