ARTICLE'S CHARACTERISTIC

Orthesis, close type, made of perforated polyurethane foam, on both sides covered with fabric. It is equipped with 2 independent sets of fastening Velcro tapes and back cross fastening.

The product is equipped with double-axis side splints equipped with a mechanism to adjust flexion and extention every 20 deg It's made of high quality aluminum with sanded coating.

The positioning of the splints in form of X allows for perfect fitting to the leg and therefore stabilization of the protected joint. Such a precise stabilization makes the process of rehabilitation of the damaged joint much easier. There is also a possibility of fixing the mechanism in the 180 deg position, used in case of requirement to stabilize the limb in stretched position. The double-axis mechanism copies the anatomical movement of he knee joint.

ATTRIBUTES
  1. MOISTURE CONTROL - thanks to internal perforation which allows for free breathing of the skin, excessive moisture can be directed outside the orthesis.
  2. TEMPERATURE CONTROL - thanks to internal perforation excessive heat can be directed outside the orthesis.
  3. ADDITIONAL SUPPORT- thanks to back fastening.
  4. PERFECT STABILIZATION OF KNEE CUP - thanks to anatomically shaped ring with anti-fungal qualities.

PURPOSE:
The product is used in following cases:
  • dislocation of knee joint
  • sprain of knee joint
  • luck of side stability
  • damaged knee ligaments LCL, MCL and ACL
  • after reconstruction of knee ligaments
  • after orthopaedic surgery

CONTRAINDICATION:
The device shouldn't be used in following cases:
  • fresh wounds
  • excoriations
  • skin eczema
  • skin allergy
  • varicosity
  • ulceration of shin

USAGE:
Rehabilitation, orthopaedics, neurology, neurosurgery, rheumatology.

HOW TO PUT IT ON:

INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS:
  1. Use only according to doctor's advice and under doctor's supervision
  2. The product should be adjusted on the patient for the first time by a doctor or qualified medical staff.
  3. Do not use the device directly after usage of cream or worm-up gel.
  4. It is advisable to use the product together with anti-varicose stockings of minimal pressure.
  5. Wrong size or incorrect usage of product may cause problems with blood circulation, stress to the protected joint and possibility of skin damage.
  6. Luck of everyday personal hygiene or wrong maintenance and washing of the product may cause excoriations or allergic reaction connected with increased sweating and bacterial flora.
HOW TO PUT IT ON - SCHEMATIC DIAGRAM:

MAINTENANCE:
  1. Hand-wash in warm water and soap in 30 deg temperature
  2. Do not iron
  3. Do not use chlorine
  4. Dry far from the sources of heat
