ARTICLE'S CHARACTERISTIC

Closed orthosis has been made of perforated neoprene foam, which is two-sidedly covered with lining fabric. It has four independent units of supportive girdles made of VELCRO stickers.

The device is provided with biaxial side splints with a rack mechanism which are made of high quality alloy of aluminum coated with permanent powdery cover. The system of splints in orthosis is arranged in a shape of X letter therefore allows to adhere perfectly to the limb and also enable to stabilize the joint excellently. Inside splints' hocks we assembled anatomical covers made of elastic material,

which permit on more exact adhesion of splint to the side part of knee. Biaxial working order of hocks inside splint is maximally similar to the anatomical movement of genual joint.


ATTRIBUTES
  1. Perfect draining off of moisture from the orthosis - thanks to use of internal perforation which permits on breathing skin freely.
  2. Partial carrying away of heat from the patient's skin - thanks to use of internal perforation which permits on moving away the excess of heat.



  3. Perfect stabilization of kneecap - thanks to use anatomically profiled ring which is made of antifungal foam.
  4. Joint stabilization increased - due to elongation of orthopaedic splints and instalation four groups of velcro tapes
PURPOSE:
The product is used in following cases:
  • dislocation of genual joint,
  • twist and sprain of genual joint,
  • side instability of genual joint,
  • damages of knee ligaments LCL, MCL and ACL,
  • reconstruction of the knee ligaments,
  • other operations (orthopedic),
  • habitual subluxation kneecaps, posttraumatic

CONTRAINDICATION:
The device shouldn't be used in following cases:
  • fresh wounds
  • excoriations
  • skin eczema
  • skin allergy
  • varicosity
  • ulceration of shin

USAGE:
Rehabilitation, orthopaedics, neurology, neurosurgery, rheumatology.

INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS:
  1. Use only according to doctor's advice and under doctor's supervision
  2. The product should be adjusted on the patient for the first time by a doctor or qualified medical staff.
  3. Do not use the device directly after usage of cream or worm-up gel.
  4. It is advisable to use the product together with anti-varicose stockings of minimal pressure.
  5. Wrong size or incorrect usage of product may cause problems with blood circulation, stress to the protected joint and possibility of skin damage.
  6. Luck of everyday personal hygiene or wrong maintenance and washing of the product may cause excoriations or allergic reaction connected with increased sweating and bacterial flora.




MAINTENANCE:
  1. Hand-wash in warm water and soap in 30 deg. temperature
  2. Do not iron
  3. Do not use chlorine
  4. Dry far from the sources of heat
CAUTION! Before washing disassemble side splint!

MATERIALS:
Neoprene, orthopedic splints made of carbon fibre, VELCRO types, polyamide buckles, profiled ring which is made of antifungal foam.
